1. Cosmic Carnival

For an out-of-this-world Halloween experience, check out Cosmic Carnival in Seattle’s Stadium District (across from Lumen Field). This galactic, glow-in-the-dark playground is great for families with kids ages five and up. It's all about family-friendly fun by day, but after dark, it transforms into an adult-only event. Expect bright colors, immersive games, and plenty of “un-scary” adventures.


2. Trick or Tree: Glow-In-The-Dark Candy Egg Hunt

Fridays & Saturdays, Oct. 11–26, 5:30–9 p.m.

Cost: $16.99 adults; $31.99 kids; ages two and younger free


For a unique Halloween twist, head to Olmstead Tree Farms in Poulsbo for the Trick or Tree: Glow-In-The-Dark Candy Egg Hunt! Thousands of glowing eggs are hidden among the trees, filled with candy, toys, and surprises. 3. Seattle Chocolate’s Haunted Factory Tour

If your family loves chocolate (who doesn’t?), book a spot for the Seattle Chocolate Haunted Factory Tour. This behind-the-scenes experience takes you through the eerie, darkened halls of the Seattle Chocolate Factory, with some spooky surprises. 4. The Great Pumpkin Night at SeaTac Community Center

Friday, Oct. 18, 5–8 p.m

Gather your little ghouls for an evening of not-too-spooky fun at The Great Pumpkin Night at the SeaTac Community Center. Expect face painting, bounce houses, and other Halloween-themed activities. The night wraps up with a family-friendly movie to get everyone in the spirit of the season. Costumes are encouraged, and it’s a perfect free event for families looking for a fun, safe Halloween celebration.


5. Halloween Skate & Pumpkin Curling at Kraken Community Iceplex

Sunday, Oct. 27, 1–3:15 p.m.

Cost: $15.41 adults; kids ages three and younger free


What’s better than ice skating in costume? At Kraken Community Iceplex, you can do just that! Dress up and hit the ice for their annual Halloween Skate event, complete with spooky tunes and festive pumpkin curling.
